After the four-fingered pianist, here comes the armless one

Liu Wei was supposed to be born with a perfect body for his lifetime until a catastrophic accident happened in his childhood. A high-voltage electric pole which accidentally befell into his at-that-time 10-year-old body in the long run managed to burn both his body, and turned his hands into sandbar. As a consequence, he had to let go his arms amputated, living the life of a blemish for the rest of his life.

Firstly fallen headlong into the deep valley of desperation, now Liu Wei has again regained his faith in life, largely thanks to his imminent sapidity in music. In a happily-ever-after conclusion, he was the first person with physical disability to be the winner of 2010 China’s Got Talent.

Not everyone is going to be as miraculously frabjous as Liu Wei, but at least, as Steve Jobs quoted, “Don’t ever waste your life living someone else’s life.”
